About

Nadia

I photograph people doing the thing they would be doing anyway. Fifteen years of it, mostly at hours nobody else wants.

My work sits between documentary and portraiture. I spend a long time not taking photographs — the first morning of a shoot is usually a write-off, and that is deliberate. People stop performing around the third hour.

Clients include Monocle, the Guardian Weekend, Zeit Magazin and a number of people who simply wanted a decent picture of their grandmother while there was still time.

I take on roughly two commissions a month. The more specific the brief, the faster I can say yes or point you at someone better suited.
